Driven to Create and Connect

Sharing ideas and imaginings

I’ve drawn since I can remember, and my parents made sure I was enrolled in all manner of community art instruction from an early age. I started as an entrepreneur in elementary and high school designing signs for our local video rental store, t-shirts for a retail store and a business sign.

I completed 1 year of art school, before moving studies to Art History and Anthropology, completing a Honours Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology at Trent University and a Diploma in Web Development from Sir Sandford Fleming College, and a Masters Certificate in Project Management.

I am interested in building community and facilitating others to learn and grow. I am a community activist and I have special interests in mental health, learning disabilities, human rights, 2SLGBTQIA+ issues, science and environment, and education.

These issues often inform my work and chosen for subject matter.
